Temperament:

D12 x D12 armor-points added to the existing armor-points of an item.

Example:
I roll a D12 two times. I roll a 6 and then an 8. 6 x 8 = 48. The armor-points of the item I use this crystal on will be permanently increased by 48. I use it on my shield, which already has a natural 50 armor-points. Now my shield has 98 armor-points.

Value: 2 Gold per armor-point added to the existing armor-poinsts of an item.
